Professional Mechanical Engineer Opportunity This is a unique opportunity to work on sustainable and energy-efficient projects as a mechanical design engineer. Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with project directors to define project requirements and deliverables.
  • Develop and implement mechanical design solutions tailored to client briefs.
  • Prepare detailed reports, budget estimates, and client cost plans.
  • Lead and mentor junior engineers/technicians, assigning weekly deliverables to meet project deadlines.
  • Attend site meetings, conduct inspections, and produce detailed technical reports.
  • Review contractor technical submittals and verify installations against design requirements.
  • Develop and oversee BCAR inspection plans at key project stages.
  • Ensure full design coordination with other disciplines while managing client relationships.
 Requirements:
  • At least three years of mechanical design experience within a consultancy environment.
  • A degree in Building Services or Mechanical Engineering (Chartership-recognised).
  • Strong knowledge of HVAC, water services, drainage design, and Irish building regulations.
  • Proficiency in Hevacomp, AutoCAD, Revit, Navisworks, and Microsoft Office.
  • Strong reporting and technical documentation skills.
