Job Title: Language Operations Manager

We are seeking a seasoned language operations manager to drive our localization efforts and lead a team of translators and language specialists.

The successful candidate will oversee translation projects, develop and implement key performance indicators (KPIs), and continuously improve translation processes. They will also support product managers with linguistic requirements and best practices.

Responsibilities:
  • Lead a team of translators and language specialists to achieve high-quality output.
  • Collaborate with external localization vendors and freelancers to meet project deadlines.
  • Develop and implement effective KPIs to measure team and individual performance.
  • Prioritize translation requests, build roadmaps, and ensure timely execution.
  • Analyze data on cost, turnaround times, and quality to inform process improvements.
  • Design and run A/B tests to enhance the language experience for users.
  • Conduct language quality assessment projects to maintain excellence.
  • Advise product managers on linguistic requirements and best practices.
  • Stay up-to-date with new localization technologies and evaluate their potential impact.
Requirements:
  • At least 2 years' experience managing localization teams or projects.
  • Demonstrated analytical skills and a data-driven approach.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills.
  • Familiarity with translation workflows and tools; SQL expertise is a plus.
  • Fluency in English required; additional language skills are a bonus.
