Senior High Potency API Professional

We are seeking a highly skilled professional to lead the development of High Potency APIs in our R&D Department. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge and expertise in the safe handling and development of HPAPI products.
Main Responsibilities- Lead development projects in the High Containment Laboratory, including route scouting, proof-of-concept studies, crystallisation optimisation, and process safety assessments.
- Identify and implement new technologies to support business needs.
- Collaborate with Operations engineers to ensure laboratory-developed processes can be successfully implemented in the manufacturing plant.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure project milestones are delivered as per the project plan.
The ideal candidate will have a PhD in Organic Chemistry or Chemical Engineering, or equivalent experience, and significant experience in the manufacture or development of linker payloads and high-potency APIs.
Key Requirements- 5+ years' experience in a GMP kilo lab in the pharmaceutical industry.
- Technical know-how on handling complex APIs and Hi-potent (HPAPI) handling systems.
- Strong interpersonal and communicational skills and ability to work across a matrix.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and commitment to continuous improvement.
