The Role: Our ideal candidate will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our payroll function, ensuring full compliance with Revenue regulations and maximising the value of our implemented payroll system.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Review existing payroll set ups across the group and implement a centralised payroll set up
  • Put in place documented process notes for all procedures
  • Ensure internal templates are in place that can be used across the organisation
  • Identify and recommend updates to payroll processing systems and procedures
  • Oversee the preparation of payroll related documents
  • Puts in place structures to ensure accurate processing and control is in place for new starters, leavers, pay changes, personal information changes etc

The Person:

We are seeking an experienced Payroll Manager to join our team. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a senior payroll role, preferably with a Plc background, and proven experience in managing a large-scale payroll operation in Ireland.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Deep knowledge of PAYE, payroll compliance and Revenue reporting requirements
  • Experience leading and developing high-performing teams
  • Demonstrated success in implementing or optimising payroll systems
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills with the ability to interpret and present data
  • High level of integrity, discretion and attention to detail
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management and project leadership skills
  • IPASS Qualification (or equivalent) and proficient in Excel
