The successful candidate must possess excellent leadership and communication skills, with a proven track record of improving patient care and maintaining a positive work environment.
Key Requirements:
- Registered Nurse/Midwife with current NMBI registration to practice.
- Minimum 5 years of post-registration experience, with at least 2 years in acute services, such as Oncology or Oncology Day Unit.
- Evidence of critical appraisal and research utilisation to maintain and improve patient care.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with fluency in English.
- Ability to build strong relationships with patients, relatives, visitors, and colleagues.
- Proven ability to refer to senior staff as required and diffuse potentially difficult situations.
- Organisational skills for coordination and provision of care needs of patients.
- Ability to work as part of a team and provide verbal and computer-written reports on patient condition.
- Demonstrated teaching and presentation skills to mentor students and promote effective learning environments.
