Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced software engineer to join our team. As a staff software engineer, you will play a critical role in designing and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, and network architecture.

Our team is responsible for creating innovative solutions that empower users to navigate and dissect volumes of networking data. We aim to extract critical signals from overwhelming noise, proactively preventing outages, and elevating the overall quality and reliability of our network for billions of users worldwide.

Responsibilities:

- Drive the technical strategy and define long-term goals and road-maps for improved network reliability, anomaly detection, and root cause analysis.

- Serve as a technical leader, mentoring other engineers and guiding technical decisions to ensure high-quality solutions.

- Manage ambiguous problems and reduce chaos in existing systems, anticipating future scaling needs to maintain system stability and performance.

- Contribute to the broader engineering community through mentoring, knowledge sharing, and participation in team-wide activities.

Requirements:

- Bachelor's degree or equivalent practical experience.

- 8 years of experience with one or more general-purpose programming languages such as Java, C/C++, or Python.

- 5 years of experience building and developing large-scale infrastructure, distributed systems, or network architecture.

- 5 years of experience testing and launching software products.

Preferred Qualifications:

- Master's degree or PhD in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related technical field.

- 3 years of experience in a technical leadership role leading project teams and setting technical direction.

- Experience in networking domains and analysing data, identifying patterns and trends, and turning them into recommendations.
