Job Title: Clinical Nurse Specialist

We are seeking an experienced and skilled Clinical Nurse Specialist to join our team in a full-time permanent position.

The successful candidate will provide expert clinical care, emotional support, education, and care coordination for patients with urological conditions across the continuum of care.

This role is pivotal in enhancing patient outcomes, streamlining multidisciplinary collaboration, and ensuring high-quality service delivery aligned with national standards and values.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Act as an autonomous practitioner managing a caseload of patients with urological conditions, including malignancies.
  • Provide specialist nursing care, including assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation of care.
  • Serve as a keyworker for patients, offering continuity and coordination throughout their treatment journey.
  • Attend and contribute to urology outpatient clinics, including PSA clinics and diagnostic consultations.
  • Liaise with multidisciplinary teams (MDTs) to ensure seamless patient pathways and timely interventions.

Required Qualifications and Skills:

  • Diploma / Degree in Nursing
  • Full registration with the NMBI (NMBI Pin)
  • Full rights to work in Ireland without sponsorship
  • Post graduate course in Urology
  • 3.5 years post graduate experience in an acute hospital setting
  • Current or recent experience working in urology
