Technical Operations Role Overview

This role involves managing and scaling financial partner integrations, ensuring seamless money movement transactions across various countries and currencies.


Job Responsibilities
  • Becoming a domain expert in Radar and other payment performance & fraud stack areas
  • Handling technical inquiries from internal teams and external partners with detailed investigation and code changes
  • Organizing complex technical changes during product releases and merchant migrations
  • Identifying and automating inefficient processes by making direct code changes or coordinating more complex changes
  • Designing alerting systems to respond quickly to incidents or prevent them altogether
  • Conducting data analysis to understand the impact of merchant configurations on Radar and surfacing future opportunities

Requirements

Successful candidates should have at least 2 years of industry experience, knowledge of payment technologies and ecosystems, and ability to write high-quality code in Ruby and Java.


  • Comfort using SQL to navigate data and diagnose issue scope and urgency
  • Proficiency in developer tools (e.g. git) and making well-scoped code changes
  • Excellent technical problem-solving skills, including developing a working understanding of technical systems through reading/writing code, documentation, logs, or asking questions
  • Strong communication skills for framing messages for both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Ability to deliver results, prioritize tasks, and reliably execute on solutions
  • Inclination to produce work increasing the impact of others, helping scale and grow the organization (e.g. documentation, tools)

Work Environment
