Software Engineering Position

Job Description

We're looking for a software engineer with expert skills and a proven track record of delivering high-quality solutions. You'll prioritize tasks well, communicate clearly, and apply an analytic approach to produce innovative solutions that meet the needs of our clients.

Key Responsibilities
  • Design, implement, test, deploy, and monitor Java and Python-based software in AWS
  • Partner with lead architects to drive the delivery of high-performance systems and work on reference architectures and baseline implementations where appropriate
  • Collaborate with the Data Science team to understand D&B patents and implement differentiating IP in Match and Entity Resolution
  • Participate in leadership and guidance on pragmatic methods for measuring progress and the impact of change
  • Create, plan, and communicate roadmaps with management, stakeholders, and the team
Requirements
  • Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science
  • 8+ years of proven software systems design and delivery experience
  • Experience with and/or understanding of data design options and tradeoffs faced when selecting data systems, protocols, sharing strategies, and normalization levels
  • Strong programming skills in Java, Python, and ideally Spark/Scala, as well as experience with other programming languages
  • Experience working in public cloud-hosted environments (AWS and Google Cloud preferred)
  • Experience applying Agile methodologies
  • Understanding of micro-service, machine learning, and scalable cloud architecture
