Occupational Therapist Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team.

About the Role:
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments for children suspected of having Autism as part of a multi-disciplinary team.
  • Administer standardized assessment tools and utilize clinical judgment to formulate accurate diagnoses.
  • Collaborate with Psychologists to gather comprehensive information and provide holistic assessments.
  • Provide feedback to the Psychologist and refer clients on to appropriate services as necessary.
  • Maintain accurate and detailed documentation of assessment results and suggested interventions.
  • Maintain accurate and confidential patient records.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in Autism assessment, proficiency in administering and interpreting standardized assessment tools commonly used in autism diagnosis, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and implement individualized treatment plans to promote cognitive, physical, and emotional development in children with Autism.
  • Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
  • Stay up-to-date with best practices and research in Autism assessment and treatment.
