The Associate Director role involves undertaking a technical and delivery-focused position on projects within the team, with a primary emphasis on the Northern Ireland market. Projects span various stages of development and scales.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and lead project delivery, as well as develop and maintain client relationships.
  • Review and generate technical and contractual information from internal and external sources.
  • Liaise with clients, manage project work on a day-to-day basis, and ensure timely and budget-conscious delivery.
  • Coordinate multi-disciplinary design of energy infrastructure.
  • Respond to technical queries raised by site teams, where applicable.
  • Act as lead verifier on reports, including technical feasibility studies and design reports (dependent on core engineering discipline).
  • Mentor junior staff members and direct their work.
Requirements
  • BEng (Hons) degree in Engineering (Civil, Electrical, or Mechanical or Environmental).
  • Chartered status or actively working towards chartership.
  • Background in civil, electrical, mechanical, environmental, or project management experience in the energy sector, demonstrating a high degree of technical competency.
  • Experience of leading or making significant contributions to projects in one or more of the following areas:
    • Onshore wind
    • Offshore wind
    • Large-scale solar PV
    • Hydroelectric design (run-of-river and pumped storage)
    • Thermal generation
    • Industrial energy processes
    • Future fuels
