Electrical Engineering Co-Op Student

As an Electrical Engineering Co-Op Student, you will be working in a dynamic and collaborative environment where you will have the opportunity to contribute to real-world projects that make a difference in improving healthcare and patients' lives.

This role is ideal for students who are looking for a challenging and rewarding experience that will give them hands-on exposure to electrical engineering principles and practices within a structured or regulated environment.

Job Description:
  • Assist in developing and reviewing electrical schematics, generating netlists, and performing layout reviews.
  • Support the generation, scrubbing, and review of Bills of Materials (BOM).
  • Contribute to designing prototypes and evaluating their performance through systematic testing.
  • Perform hands-on bench testing to verify electrical designs and assess device performance.
  • Participate in stack-up analysis, including component de-rating analysis, worst case/Monte Carlo analysis, LTspice simulations, and design for excellence (DFX) reviews.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • Basic understanding of electrical engineering principles, including circuit design and analysis.
  • Familiarity with electrical design tools and practices within a structured or regulated environment.
  • Exposure to eCAD tools for schematic capture and basic layout design.
  • Awareness of circuit simulation tools through coursework or personal projects.
  • Ability to perform basic analysis tasks, including understanding tolerances and their impact on design and simple statistical methods for data evaluation.
