Job Description

We are seeking a highly qualified Elementary Education Specialist to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering targeted interventions to students in grades 2-3, focusing on language arts and mathematics.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement engaging lesson plans to support student learning
  • Assess student progress and adjust instruction accordingly
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistent instructional practices
  • Provide ongoing communication to parents regarding student progress
Required Qualifications

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution
  • Valid Michigan Elementary Teaching Certificate
  • Meets highly qualified standards
  • Educational experience and/or training in teaching the Michigan State Standards for Language Arts and Mathematics
  • Experience working with elementary school students, preferably in a similar capacity
  • LETRS training or willingness to complete
