Senior Finance Professional Wanted

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Professional to fill a 12-month maternity cover contract position. As a key member of our finance team, you will report directly to the Finance Director and be responsible for overseeing various financial tasks.

Job Responsibilities:
  • Accurately calculate costs assigned to projects and collaborate with colleagues from other business functions to ensure seamless coordination.
  • Perform monthly stock reconciliations and investigate any discrepancies that fall outside of acceptable tolerance levels.
  • Prepare comprehensive balance sheet reconciliations, board packs, and monthly reporting to facilitate informed decision-making.
  • Manage weekly payroll files and billing documents for clients, ensuring timely and accurate submissions.
  • Liaise with auditors and third-party contacts for quarterly audits, maintaining effective communication and collaboration.
Requirements:
  • A qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA) with a minimum of three years' industry experience.
  • Proven knowledge and experience working with finance ERP systems.
  • Exceptional Microsoft Office skills, particularly in Excel, to analyze and present complex financial data.
  • An inquisitive mindset and willingness to learn and adapt to new challenges.
  • Strong team player with excellent communication skills and fluency in English.
