Job Description

We are currently seeking a skilled Project Manager to lead various programs related to power transmission, distribution, and renewable energy projects. This role will involve managing multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring effective project delivery, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

The ideal candidate will have experience in wind and solar construction program management, with strong technical knowledge in renewable energy and project controls. They should be able to develop and deploy project planning strategies, processes, procedures, and systems to ensure integrated scope, cost, and schedule planning.

Key responsibilities include developing project baselines (scope, cost, time), efficient progress measurement, earned value management reports, change management, development of reports, KPI's and dashboards, constructability assessments on greenfield sites, and representing the company in all aspects of the projects.

Additionally, the successful candidate will have experience in claims and dispute management, procurement of front-end electrical engineering, project controls, and technical engagement with external consultants, contractors, utilities, and grid companies.

  • Developing and deploying project controls and planning strategies, processes, procedures, and systems to ensure effective - integrated scope, cost, and schedule planning.
  • Development and agreement of project baselines (scope, cost, time).
  • Efficient progress measurement and earned value management reports.
  • Change management and control.
  • Development of reports, KPI's and dashboards
  • Constructability Assessments on greenfield sites.
  • Represent the company to the client in all aspects of the projects.

Required Skills and Qualifications

For this role, you are required to have:

  • Experience in managing construction programs.
  • 5 years' experience in a project management role.
  • Experience in solar or wind programs.
  • Knowledge of the technical specification design function.
  • Health & Safety Management.
  • Bid and Tender experience.
  • Client and sub-contractor management.
  • Worked in the Commercial/Industrial sector.
