About the Role:

We are seeking a dedicated and skilled temporary Speech and Language Therapist to join our multidisciplinary team. The ideal candidate will have experience in assessing, diagnosing, and treating speech, language, communication, and swallowing disorders in patients of all ages.

This role requires excellent communication skills, the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals, and a patient-centered approach to care.

  • Evaluate and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders in children and adults.
  • Develop and implement personalized therapy plans to improve speech, language, and swallowing abilities.
  • Educate patients and their families on communication strategies and provide ongoing support throughout the therapy process.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assess and diagnose speech, language, and communication disorders.
  • Develop individualized therapy plans to address client needs.
  • Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive care.
  • Provide education and support to clients and their families.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's Degree in Speech and Language Therapy
  • CORU Registration
  • Dysphasia Training
  • Minimum of 1 year of clinical experience preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work in a dynamic healthcare environment.
  • Full driving license and access to own car is desirable.
  • Resident in Ireland and legal right to work in Ireland without restriction.
  • All candidates will be required to undergo Garda Vetting.
  • International Police Clearance (if lived outside of Ireland for more than 6 months after the age of 16).
