Job Title

An exceptional Lead AMS Layout Engineer is required to spearhead the design and development of complex RF and mixed-signal blocks.

About the Role

This pivotal position will oversee top-level/SOC layouts and block-level designs, collaborating closely with Analog/RF Design Engineers to create and optimize these critical components.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with Analog/RF Design Engineers to develop and refine the design and layout of intricate RF and mixed-signal blocks.
  • Pursue high-quality RF/Analog systems using industry best practices for layout and physical verification.
  • Take ownership of top-level/SOC layouts and block-level designs.
  • Conduct thorough verification and debug from block level to top level.
  • Lead and document layout design reviews.
Interpersonal Skills:
  • Work collaboratively with other engineers in the RF/Analog design team to ensure designs meet specifications and are delivered on time.
  • Maintain a strong analytical mindset and excellent problem-solving skills.
  • Mentor junior layout engineers and guide layout contractors effectively.
  • Drive continuous productivity improvements through efficient tool use and good documentation.
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Electronic Engineering or a related field.
  • At least 10 years' relevant industrial experience required.
  • Detailed experience of analog/mixed-signal layout on advanced CMOS nodes (40nm and lower).
  • A working knowledge of Cadence Virtuoso suite and Calibre verification tools.
  • Strong analytical and debug skills.
  • Experience with high-frequency RF designs.
