IT Programmes Assurance Lead

We are seeking a skilled professional to lead IT project controls, ensuring high standards of control, risk management, and compliance across large-scale change initiatives.
Responsibilities
- Provide independent oversight and assurance over IT elements of finance transformation programmes.
- Monitor, test, and report on programme compliance with internal controls, highlighting control gaps or areas of non-compliance.
- Support the design and embedding of sustainable IT change control processes.
- Develop clear documentation and audit trails for IT programme and change controls.
- Engage with stakeholders (IT, Finance, Risk, Controls) to ensure input, ownership, and challenge.
- Prepare assurance updates and risk-based reporting for senior leadership.
- Collaborate with internal and external auditors as needed.
About the Person
- Experienced in project assurance, IT controls assurance, or programme governance within complex organisations.
- Strong understanding of change control frameworks; ICFR/SOX compliance beneficial.
- Able to interpret and apply policy and regulatory standards within programme context.
- Comfortable working globally, with strong influencing and communication skills at senior stakeholder level.
- Ideal experience with major transformation programmes where assurance and governance were key.
- Qualifications in audit, controls, project assurance or technology advantageous.
This is a permanent, hybrid working role based in Dublin offices – 2/3 days a week.
