About the Job
We are seeking a highly experienced Head Baker/Bakery Manager to join our team on a full-time basis. The successful candidate will be responsible for managing a team of approximately 12 staff members and overseeing the production of high-end bakery products, including items such as apple tarts, frangipanes, danishes, buns, biscuits etc.
Key Responsibilities
- To manage and motivate a team of skilled bakers to produce high-quality bakery products;
- To oversee the day-to-day operations of the bakery, ensuring all tasks are completed efficiently and effectively;
- To maintain accurate records of production, stock levels, and staff performance;
- To work closely with other departments to ensure seamless supply chains and distribution;
Requirements
- Degree in Bakery Management or related field;
- At least 5 years' experience in senior bakery management roles;
- Proven track record of delivering high-quality products within tight deadlines;
- Excellent leadership and communication skills;
- Familiarity with HACCP and SOPs principles;
- Ability to work under pressure and adapt to changing circumstances;
