Job Overview

The Order Coordinator role supports working relationships with direct customer accounts, acting as the primary point of contact for order delivery requirements. Key responsibilities include scheduling, resolving pricing issues, and collaborating with Supply Planning to validate product availability.

Key Responsibilities
  • Acknowledge receipt of Purchase Orders from customers and verify them for accuracy.
  • Communicate order and delivery status to internal and external stakeholders.
  • Notify customers and sales of pricing changes on a regular basis.
  • Validate purchase orders for compliance with corporate guidelines.
  • Collaborate with sales on back-orders and recovery plans, as well as supply chain shortages.
  • Confirm pick-ups and advise customers of collection orders.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's Degree or equivalent business qualification.
  • 1-3 years of relevant experience with required education or 3-5 years without required education.
  • Proficiency in ERP and CRM systems, Microsoft Suite, Visio, and email communication tools.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, excellent listening and questioning abilities.
  • A positive attitude and sense of ownership over customer issues.
