Cloud Engineer Job Description

As a skilled Cloud developer, you will be responsible for designing, building, testing and maintaining a SaaS service on various hyperscalers. Your expertise in cloud technologies such as container orchestration, continuous integration, and deployment will drive the success of our service.

Delivering new features into the service, maintaining and enhancing our continuous integration and deployment pipelines, ensuring the smooth operation of our services are key responsibilities of this role. A good level of personal organization and ability to work well within a distributed global team in a fast-paced environment is essential.

The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills in Golang and a desire to learn full-stack development, including feature development, testing, and customer support. Being comfortable working as part of a global team and possessing good verbal and written communication skills are also required.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of experience in cloud engineering
  • Proficiency in agile development methodologies and tools
  • Experience in utilizing Helm charts for packaging and deploying containerized applications
  • Knowledge of Terraform to provision and manage infrastructure, Docker, Istio, and other container technologies
