Business Finance Partner Job Description

The Role:

  • Collaborating with leaders to support strategic initiatives and commercial decisions
  • Leading financial planning activities, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
  • Managing month-end processes with a focus on revenue recognition and performance analysis
  • Preparing and delivering insightful monthly management reports, including variance analysis against budget and prior year
  • Reviewing and managing expense accruals, prepayments, and revenue deferrals
  • Developing financial models to support ongoing business projects and future planning
  • Providing forward-looking financial insights to influence business strategy

You will also contribute to:

  • Month-end reporting processes, including revenue and investment tracking
  • Communicating business developments, risks, and opportunities
  • Strengthening collaboration with the finance team, including task review and relationship development

About This Opportunity

Your Responsibilities

We are looking for an experienced Business Finance Partner who can lead financial planning activities, manage month-end processes, and prepare insightful management reports. Key responsibilities include:

  1. Developing and maintaining accurate financial models and forecasts
  2. Leading financial planning and analysis activities, including annual budgeting and monthly forecasting
  3. Coordinating month-end close processes and ensuring timely completion
  4. Preparing and presenting financial reports to senior management
  5. Identifying areas for process improvement and implementing changes as needed
