Job Overview:

The Commercial Credit Solutions Manager will be responsible for overseeing a portfolio of customers across various sectors, providing support in the management of the portfolio. This role offers the opportunity to gain restructuring experience and enhance skills in people, credit, regulatory, and relationship management.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Managing inbound correspondence
  • Attending project calls and operational meetings for reviews and ad hoc matters
  • Meeting and negotiating with borrowers in debt settlement arrangements
  • Providing support to the wider team as required
  • Connection level case management
  • Credit analysis, decision making, credit submissions, and decision implementation
  • Proactive management of customers in line with agreed exit strategy at loan level, including litigation
  • Actioning CRM system to ensure accounts are at the correct status
  • Working closely with other members of the RM team
  • Submitting weekly progress reports and ensuring data accuracy

Requirements:

  • Qualified Financial Advisor
  • Bachelor's degree (or equivalent)
  • 5 years minimum experience in commercial debt management, restructuring, or workout
  • Strong negotiation skills
  • Commercial Relationship management experience essential
  • Ability to analyse company profit & loss statements and balance sheet
  • Confidence to assume responsibility and initiative
  • Excellent time management, prioritisation, and organisational skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Advanced Microsoft Excel skills (vlookups, pivot tables, dashboards, data manipulation)
  • Advanced Microsoft Powerpoint skills (presentation of financial results to clients/board of directors)
  • Excellent, in-depth, and up-to-date knowledge of CCMA, CPC, SME, and how to apply these through interactions with customers
  • Full driving license, with access to a vehicle for work purposes
