Job Opportunity: Senior IT Audit Advisor

The Role:

  • We are seeking a skilled IT Audit Advisor to conduct thorough assessments of our information systems, identifying potential risks and ensuring a secure environment.
  • This includes reviewing controls for major systems and their implementations to guarantee their effectiveness.
  • The successful candidate will provide stakeholders with assurance on the reliability of our information, through rigorous risk assessment, benchmarking, and due diligence.
  • In addition, they will offer expert advice on conversion issues and project management risks and controls for system implementation and conversion projects.

The Ideal Candidate:

  • A minimum of 3 years' experience working within audit as an External Auditor, IT Auditor, or IT Risk & Security professional, preferably in the Financial Services sector.
  • Senior level experience is ideal, particularly within an accountancy practice firm.
  • A recognized qualification such as CISA, CIA, CA, ACCA, or ACA is essential.
  • Familiarity with data analytics for audit purposes and CAATs is highly desirable.
