
Financial Operations Specialist

This role presents a unique opportunity to make a meaningful contribution to the organization's financial operations, driving efficiency and accuracy in its day-to-day processes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Prepare year-end non-audit company accounts and working papers up to review stage.
- Reconcile balance sheet items, including VAT, payroll, leases, hire purchases, and fixed assets.
- Apply solid knowledge of accounting principles to post journals onto accounting software accurately.
- Assist in the preparation of management accounts.
- Prepare statutory financial statements, ensuring compliance with deadlines, checklists, and procedural requirements.
- Support year-end close processes, including the preparation of year-end journals.
- Assist in the preparation of Corporation Tax returns.
- Liaise with clients over the phone and through written correspondence.
- Provide assistance to managers on special client projects and assignments.
Requirements:
- Apart from being part-qualified ACA/ACCA accountant, minimum of 2+ years of general accounting practice experience is required.
- Results-driven with strong technical abilities and financial acumen is essential.
- Excellent communication skills with a strong focus on customer care are expected.
- Highly organized with excellent planning abilities.
- Proficient in both written and spoken English.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative. Intermediate to advanced Excel skills preferred.
- Experience with the Microsoft Office Suite.
