This is a field-based position with frequent travel, working closely with operational teams and customers to promote safe working practices and environmental responsibility.
Key Responsibilities- Conduct site audits across Ireland, advising teams on compliance with legislation, policies, and industry standards.
- Support field teams in improving working conditions, providing guidance and practical solutions.
- Investigate workplace incidents, identify root causes, and recommend corrective actions.
- Deliver health and safety training, support risk assessments, and provide method statements.
- Drive continuous improvement of safety behaviours and environmental risk awareness.
- Previous experience in a field-based health and safety role.
- IEMA environmental awareness (advantageous).
- Lead auditor certification (desired).
- Auditing, compliance monitoring, and risk assessment skills.
- Full driving licence (company van provided).
- Flexibility to travel across Ireland, typically four days per week.
