Service Management Professional

We are seeking a seasoned professional to oversee service installations for residential and commercial projects in Dublin.

This role will report to the Site Project Manager, providing strategic support and ensuring seamless delivery of services.

Main Responsibilities
  • Manage service installations strictly in accordance with client specifications and company guidelines.
  • EFFECTIVELY MANAGE SERVICES CONTRACTORS AND OTHER RELATED SUB-CONTRACTORS/SUPPLY CHAIN PARTNERS TO ENSURE HIGH-QUALITY DELIVERY.
  • Analyse data to identify critical sequences and resource requirements, informing key management decisions.
  • Review and report on specifications and design drawings to ensure compliance with company standards.
  • Develop design proposals at sketch, detailed design, and production stages as needed.
  • Plan and manage Design Team Drawings (e.g., AutoCAD) and other documentation of design and installation.
  • PROGRAMME AND FACILITATE THE FLOW OF INFORMATION BETWEEN THE DESIGN TEAM AND SERVICES SUBCONTRACTORS TO ENSURE EFFICIENT PROJECT EXECUTION.
  • Attend client meetings and provide updates on project progress.
  • Organise and chair coordination meetings for services subcontractors to ensure effective communication and collaboration.
  • Plan work and organise plant and site facilities to meet project deadlines.
  • Review Sub Contractor submittals on plant proposals and procurement routes, tracking these as required.
  • Inspect, assess, and verify commissioning of MEP systems on site.
  • Coordinate timely submittal of the Safety File Data for the Client on project completion.
You will need
  • Relevant engineering degree or diploma, or related discipline.
  • Preferably 8+ years' experience with a main contractor or building services contractor/consultancy.
  • Familiar with mechanical, electrical, sprinkler & process systems/construction.
  • Professional with excellent interpersonal skills, strong written and oral communication skills.
  • Demonstrate a high degree of responsiveness and ability to work independently.
  • Proven track record in commercial/industrial or residential projects.
  • Willing to contribute to and adhere to quality and safety requirements of the operation.
  • Membership of professional body (e.g. CIBSE) a benefit.
