Job Role: Event Operations Manager

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Events Operations Manager to lead our banqueting service team in delivering exceptional guest experiences. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the planning, setup, and execution of all banqueting events, including weddings and private functions.

This is a hands-on role that requires strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail. The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 1 year's experience in banqueting, events, or hospitality management and possess a genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service.

Main Responsibilities:

  • Oversight of event planning, setup, and execution
  • Leadership and support of the banqueting service team
  • Liaison with internal departments for smooth service coordination
  • Staffing management, scheduling, and performance monitoring
  • Maintenance of high standards of service, presentation, and health & safety compliance
  • Responding to guest feedback professionally and implementing improvements as needed
  • Supporting ongoing training to uphold excellence in service and hospitality

Requirements:

  • Minimum 1 year's experience in banqueting, events, or hospitality management
  • Strong organisational and multitasking skills with excellent attention to detail
  • Hands-on leadership style with ability to motivate and guide a team
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
  • Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays in line with event schedules
  • Genuine passion for hospitality and delivering outstanding service
