Job Overview

We are seeking a Senior Environmental Health professional to lead our organization's efforts in environmental stewardship and safety performance.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Compliance & Regulations: Ensure compliance with all relevant regulations and laws, monitoring legislative changes and advising management accordingly.
  • Policy & Program Development: Develop, implement, and maintain EHS policies, procedures, and management systems that align with industry best practices.
  • Risk Management & Incident Control: Conduct regular hazard identification, risk assessments, and workplace inspections to minimize exposure to hazards. Lead investigations into accidents, incidents, and near misses, identifying root causes and implementing corrective actions.
  • Training & Awareness: Deliver targeted EHS training, toolbox talks, and awareness campaigns to employees and contractors, emphasizing the importance of safe working practices.
  • Audits & Reporting: Lead internal and external EHS audits, inspections, and certifications, ensuring adherence to regulatory requirements. Prepare and present EHS performance reports, KPIs, and improvement plans to stakeholders.
  • Emergency Preparedness: Develop and test emergency response and crisis management plans, coordinating fire drills, evacuation plans, and first-aid readiness.
  • Sustainability & Environmental Stewardship: Drive initiatives to minimize environmental impact, including waste reduction, energy efficiency, and resource conservation, promoting sustainable practices throughout the organization.

A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering, or a related discipline is required, along with strong leadership and communication skills.
