Job Title: Field Service Technician - Catering Equipment Specialist

The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing ongoing support to the Service Manager in maintaining and servicing all catering equipment for a specific region.

  • Troubleshooting and problem-solving of catering equipment, including ice cream and milkshake machines, fryers, grills, pizza ovens, hot counters, ovens, dishwashers, toasters, and refrigeration units.

This involves inspecting equipment for wear and damage, performing minor repairs and adjustments, and maintaining inventories. Additionally, the candidate should have strong attention to detail for accurate record keeping, as well as excellent oral and written communication skills.

The role requires a good working knowledge of catering equipment, servicing, and maintenance, with a minimum of 3 years' experience. The candidate should be hands-on, flexible, and able to work on various catering equipment, adhering to all standards and procedures.

Responsibilities:
  • Maintaining, operating, and repairing all relevant equipment, including routine and preventive maintenance.
  • Performing stock control and parts ordering.
  • Collaborating with the Service Manager and Store Managers to ensure seamless service delivery.
  • Becoming proficient in troubleshooting and repair of different types of catering equipment.

The successful candidate will possess a full clean driving license and be willing to travel to various locations. Strong relationships with staff and management are essential, as is a positive, can-do attitude.
