Leader in Elderly Care Opportunity

Job Description:

As a Director of Nursing, you will lead and manage all aspects of the day-to-day operation of a residential care facility. This includes overseeing compliance with regulatory requirements, mentoring and supporting staff, and monitoring care plans and resident outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Lead and manage the care team to ensure high-quality person-centred care
  • Oversee the implementation of HIQA standards and ensure regulatory compliance
  • Mentor and support clinical and non-clinical staff to promote a positive and productive work environment
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and external stakeholders to drive continuous improvement initiatives
Requirements:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • NMBI Registered General Nurse (PIN must be active and in good standing)
  • Minimum 3 years' management experience within the last 6 years in elderly care
  • A recognised management qualification in healthcare or related field
  • Strong leadership, communication, and organisational skills
  • In-depth knowledge of HIQA regulations and best practice in elderly care
