The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in managing capital projects across the project life cycle from initiation to closeout. This includes completion of front-end studies, development of business cases and budgets, as well as scheduling.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing and executing projects throughout the project life cycle.
- Completion of front-end studies with end-users to determine the most appropriate technical solution and develop business cases and budgets.
- Manage and execute design, procurement, construction, commissioning and qualification phases of the project.
- Lead cross-functional client project teams.
- Develop and manage project schedules and costs with regular reporting to key stakeholders.
- Ensure all project changes are captured, documented and assessed.
- Maintain a strong safety culture and performance in the execution of capital projects.
Required qualifications and experience include:
- Bachelor's degree in a relevant science or engineering discipline.
- At least 8 years of experience in project management/engineering within a pharmaceutical environment.
- Experience in working on client-side capital projects.
- Strong understanding of current good manufacturing practices (cGMP).
- Understanding of environmental, health and safety requirements in the pharmaceutical industry.
