**Global Procurement Leadership Role**

We are seeking an experienced leader to oversee the management of global facilities, capital and logistics categories. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in procurement and be able to drive value through effective category management.

The Director of Global Procurement will be responsible for leading cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategies that meet business needs. This includes managing supplier relationships, negotiating contracts and ensuring compliance with regulations.

Key responsibilities will include:

  • Leading negotiations and supplier management activities
  • Developing and implementing category strategies
  • Managing a team of professionals responsible for performing category management tasks
  • Providing coaching and guidance on job performance and career development to direct reports

This role requires a bachelor's degree in a relevant field of study and progressive experience in procurement, preferably in the pharma/bio-pharma industry.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

  • Strong leadership and management skills
  • Excellent communication and negotiation skills
  • Ability to analyze data and make informed decisions
  • Knowledge of sourcing contracting tools, ERP's, and e RFx systems preferred
