Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Cybersecurity Solutions Engineer to join our team. As a senior consultant, you will work closely with clients to design and implement robust cybersecurity solutions that meet their unique needs.

This role requires a deep understanding of security principles, technologies, and industry trends. You will have hands-on experience with various security tools, including SIEM platforms, cloud security solutions, and endpoint detection and response systems.

You will be responsible for configuring, tuning, and analyzing SIEM alerts for threat detection. You will also document evidence of your work in comprehensive reports and status updates, and effectively communicate findings and strategy to client stakeholders.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in information security/cybersecurity engineering, systems administration, network security, or related field. They will possess excellent organizational skills, problem-solving abilities, and strong written/verbal communication and interpersonal skills.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and implement cybersecurity solutions to meet client needs
  • Configure, tune, and analyze SIEM alerts for threat detection
  • Document evidence of work in comprehensive reports and status updates
  • Effectively communicate findings and strategy to client stakeholders
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, IT Security, Cybersecurity, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or related field
  • 1-3 years professional experience in information security/cybersecurity engineering, systems administration, network security, or related field
  • Punctuality and timely attendance to external client and internal stakeholder needs
Desired Skills:
  • Hands-on experience with SIEM platforms (e.g., Splunk, QRadar, LogRhythm, Microsoft Sentinel)
  • Knowledge of log collection, parsing, and correlation rules
  • Cloud Security: Experience securing AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud environments
  • Familiarity with scripting (Python, PowerShell, Bash) for automation
  • Familiarity with cloud-native security tools (e.g., AWS Security Hub, Defender suite)
  • Understanding of IAM (Identity and Access Management), conditional access policies, and secure by default concepts
