Lead AI/ML Engineering Manager

We are seeking an experienced Lead AI/ML Engineering Manager to drive the delivery of impactful insights and optimize interactions across our experiences and systems.

The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, coding, training, documenting, deploying, and evaluating large-scale machine learning systems. They will work closely with cross-functional teams, including engineering, security, architecture, product, and PMO, to turn ambiguous opportunities into actionable outcomes.

  • Drive complex technical decisions across multiple teams.
  • Work with engineering, security, architecture, product, and PMO teams to deliver end-to-end projects from charter to delivery.
  • Influence teams and drive alignment among multiple stakeholders.
  • Communicate schedules, priorities, and status to various stakeholders.
  • Identify risks, resolve key project conflicts, and establish appropriate resolution paths.

Key qualifications include:

  • 5+ years of experience as a technical program manager in AI/ML.
  • Bachelor's degree in a technical field.
  • Solid technical background and ability to quickly understand technical designs, challenges, and risks.
  • Proven record of interfacing with multi-disciplinary teams and partners.
  • Ability to communicate well with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Experience managing day-to-day distributed scrum teams.
  • Skilled in foreseeing challenges in deliverables and their mitigation strategies.

Preferred qualifications include:

  • Experience in platform engineering space.
  • Significant experience working with software engineering leadership, technical teams, and individual contributors.
  • Ability to communicate authoritatively at a sufficient technical depth.
  • Passionate about learning new concepts and technologies.
  • Knowledge of various ML platforms would be a big plus.
