EHS Specialist Position

This role involves performing Environmental Health and Safety (EHS) tasks to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, policies, and procedures.
- Ensure site compliance with environmental regulatory requirements, including documentation and reporting needs.
- Contribute to environmental sustainability and innovative efficiency initiatives on-site.
- Develop Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and Policies for environmental compliance on-site.
- Participate in internal and external EHS audits and inspections.
- Design and deliver on-site EHS training programs.
- Contribute to the development and continuous improvement of the EHS Management System.
- Demonstrate thorough knowledge of EHS legislation applicable to pharmaceutical facilities operating within Ireland/Europe.
- Show operational safety experience, particularly with Safe Systems of Work.
- Display logical problem-solving abilities.
- Possess excellent interpersonal and communication skills, along with good technical report-writing capabilities.
To be considered, applicants should have a Dip/BS/BA in Environmental Science or equivalent, coupled with 2+ years of EHS experience in the pharmaceutical industry.
