We are seeking a highly skilled Configuration Manager to join our team. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to the modernization of Ireland's rail network.

The successful candidate will be responsible for defining, implementing, and maintaining the Configuration Management Plan (CMP) in line with industry standards.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining configuration identification, baseline creation, version control, and configuration audits for all system components.
  • Managing the Configuration Management Database (CMDB) and ensuring alignment with as-built and as-deployed configurations.
  • Collaborating with engineering, safety, testing, procurement, and operational teams to control and track changes across all system elements.
  • Ensuring rigorous change control by managing Change Requests (CRs), Configuration Control Boards (CCBs), and approval workflows.
  • Maintaining traceability from system requirements through design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Producing regular configuration status accounting reports for internal teams.
  • Ensuring compliance with safety and quality standards.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or a related discipline.
  • Minimum 10 years of professional experience in configuration management within large-scale infrastructure, rail, transportation, or safety-critical industries.
  • Proven experience in managing configuration and change control on rail signaling or transportation projects.
  • Deep understanding of configuration standards and rail safety standards.
  • Proficiency in configuration management tools such as IBM Rational, Polarion, PTC Windchill, or similar platforms.
  • Strong analytical, documentation, and communication skills with the ability to coordinate cross-functional teams.
