Senior Data Center Construction Manager

Amazon's data centers are industry-leading examples of innovation in the areas of security, safety, space utilization, efficiency, and cost-effectiveness.
Our team is responsible for the construction of Amazon-owned sites. We're seeking a Senior Construction Manager to lead the development of data center projects from site selection through commissioning.
This role requires extensive experience in mission-critical facilities, with knowledge of civil, electric, and mechanical engineering principles. The ideal candidate will have expertise in critical data center equipment and be able to travel up to 40% of the time.
The successful candidate will possess strong leadership and project management skills, with experience conducting negotiations with general contractors and evaluating bids/proposals with detail and accuracy.

Key responsibilities include:
- * Developing and implementing design standards across regional construction programs
* Leading cross-functional teams to deliver complex projects on time and within budget
* Conducting site validation, due diligence, and risk analysis
* Managing contract/lease and cost negotiations with developers, contractors, and consultants
* Reviewing and providing input into global standards and data center template designs
