Dublin Sushi Sous Chef

This role is a key position within our culinary team, and we are seeking an experienced Sushi Sous Chef to lead and inspire their colleagues.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Preparation and Maintenance: Ensure that all necessary ingredients are stocked and at the right levels to maintain freshness and minimize wastage.
  • Sourcing and Inventory: Oversee deliveries and work with the Goods Receiver to ensure that all stock is accurately received and stored.
  • Quality Control: Perform daily checks to ensure that all food is prepared to the highest standards.
  • Team Management: Train and mentor kitchen staff to achieve consistency and excellence in all aspects of sushi preparation.
  • Support and Guidance: Assist the Head Chef and Senior Sous Chef in maintaining a positive and productive work environment.
Requirements:
  • A minimum of 2 years' experience as a Sushi Sous Chef is required.
  • Extensive knowledge of ingredients and techniques is essential.
  • Leadership skills and excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary for success in this role.
  • Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and dynamic environment is critical.
