Teaching Fellow in Mechanical Engineering Design

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Teaching Fellow to join our team in the UCD School of Mechanical and Materials Engineering. As a key member of our academic staff, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality education and research in mechanical engineering design.

About the Role:

This is a three-year fixed-term post commencing in September 2025. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching undergraduate and postgraduate students in mechanical engineering design, as well as contributing to the development of new courses and programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • PhD in Mechanical Engineering or a related field
  • Proven experience in teaching mechanical engineering design at undergraduate and/or postgraduate level
  • Strong research background in mechanical engineering design
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
