Key Communications Role

The Communications Manager is responsible for developing and implementing a comprehensive communications strategy, aligning with the organization's strategic objectives. This includes managing internal and external communications, as well as overseeing public relations initiatives.

To be successful in this role, you will need to have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders.

  • Developing internal communications plans to engage staff and promote organizational goals;
  • Managing communications channels, including social media, email, and traditional media;
  • Creating high-quality content, including press releases, newsletters, and website updates;
  • Developing branding guidelines and ensuring consistent messaging across all communications platforms;
  • Collaborating with cross-functional teams to develop and implement integrated marketing campaigns;
  • Providing regular reporting and analytics on communications efforts.

You will be an experienced professional with a proven track record of delivering effective communications strategies. You will have a relevant third-level qualification in Journalism, PR or Communications, and at least 3 years' experience working in a similar role.
