The role of a Process Technician is crucial in ensuring the optimal performance and reliability of wastewater treatment plants. As a key member of our operations team, you will be responsible for carrying out routine tests on wastewater, solids, and soils.
We are seeking a highly motivated Water Treatment Specialist to join our team at one of our facilities. Your primary responsibility will be to conduct laboratory sampling and analysis to ensure compliance with industry standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform daily water quality testing, including measurements of pH, temperature, total hardness, turbidity, and other parameters.
- Conduct laboratory analysis to determine the presence of various contaminants and pollutants.
- Collaborate with Plant Managers and Operations staff to optimize process efficiency and identify areas for improvement.
- Prepare accurate reports and present data to senior management.
- Liaise with clients and stakeholders to provide updates on plant performance.
Requirements:
- Degree in Chemical/Environmental Engineering or relevant higher-level degree.
- Previous experience (1-3 years) in industrial process operations is desirable.
- Familiarity with standard laboratory procedures and quality management systems.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work independently.
