Backend Engineer Position

We are seeking a skilled Backend Engineer to join our team and contribute to the development of innovative financial systems.

This role involves designing, building, and maintaining scalable APIs that handle large volumes of transactions. The ideal candidate will have strong coding skills, experience in software engineering, and excellent collaboration abilities.

  • Design and implement high-performance APIs that meet business requirements.
  • Analyze and resolve complex production issues across multiple services and levels of the stack.
  • Mentor junior engineers to help them grow professionally.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders to build new features while improving internal engineering standards and processes.

To succeed in this position, you should have:

Required Skills:
  • A minimum of 2-12+ years of industry experience in software engineering.
  • Strong coding skills in any programming language (with an understanding that new languages can be learned on the job).
  • Excellent collaboration skills, able to work effectively within teams and contribute to peers' success.
  • The ability to thrive in a high-autonomy environment, taking ownership of responsibilities and projects.

Bonus qualifications include:

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:
  • Experience working with large-scale financial systems.
  • A good understanding of cloud-based services, including gRPC, GraphQL, Docker/Kubernetes, and cloud services like AWS.
