Job Overview

We are seeking an exceptional Warehouse Operations Manager to join our team.

Key Responsibilities
  • Operational Management:
  • Develop and implement effective warehouse operations strategies, ensuring seamless day-to-day management of receiving, storage, order picking, and dispatch.
  • Maintain accurate inventory levels, minimize discrepancies, and manage returns from customers to suppliers.
  • Oversee the transport fleet, monitoring performance, records, driver oversight, and compliance.
  • Plan and execute the receipt and storage of all stock and customer orders efficiently.
  • Ensure strict adherence to Health and Safety regulations, maintaining a clean, safe, and organized warehouse environment.
  • Analyse operational data to identify areas for improvement and implement initiatives to boost efficiency and customer satisfaction.
People Management
  • Leadership and Team Development:
  • Foster a positive, high-performance work environment that promotes teamwork, accountability, and professional growth.
  • Provide clear direction and leadership to team members, driving results-oriented performance.
  • Recruit, train, manage, evaluate, and develop warehouse staff to ensure they possess the skills and expertise required to excel in their roles.
  • Build effective relationships with relevant departments, branches, and external stakeholders to drive collaboration and success.
Required Skills and Qualifications
  • Minimum of 5 years in a leadership role overseeing both warehouse and transport operations.
  • Proven retail and B2C experience, with a strong understanding of customer-facing logistics.
  • Strong knowledge of transport regulations, fleet management, and compliance standards.
  • Proficiency in IT systems, including ERP and Microsoft Office.
  • Third-level degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, or a related field is advantageous.
  • Full driver's licence – C category desirable.
  • Health & Safety qualifications are beneficial.
