Senior Food Safety and Quality Director

Job Summary: A pivotal position exists for a Quality Assurance Manager to oversee all quality and food safety operations within our facility. The ideal candidate will direct a small team of quality and technical professionals in a high-pressure manufacturing environment, ensuring seamless compliance with regulatory requirements.
Main Responsibilities- Maintain and implement effective food safety and quality management systems, fostering an atmosphere of operational excellence.
- Coordinate BRC audits, guaranteeing unwavering compliance and preparedness at all times.
- Lead the development and growth of a technical and quality team, focusing on attaining unparalleled performance standards.
- Sustain harmony between regulatory, company, and customer demands for food safety and quality.
- Analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) and initiate targeted improvement initiatives.
- Act as the primary point of contact for external bodies and customers on technical and quality matters.
- Proven experience in a technical or quality leadership role within a fast-paced food manufacturing setting.
- Demonstrated expertise in leading BRC audits and managing customer audit processes.
- In-depth knowledge of food safety and quality standards, legislation, and compliance.
- Exceptional leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills.
