Transforming retail consumer experience through advanced analytics is a key objective in the field of software development. In this role, you will be working with cutting-edge technologies to deliver high-visibility analytics projects for strategic priorities.
Key responsibilities include driving revenue and customer satisfaction using advanced analytic solutions to optimize merchandising and pricing decisions. Solving complex problems and delivering decision support tools to improve customer experience are also crucial tasks in this position.
Collaborating with business stakeholders to understand business needs and convert them into requirements for solution enhancements or ad hoc analyses is vital. You will also help guide the overall roadmap for enterprise optimal pricing solutions that deploy complex data science models through interactive user interfaces.
Working with teams of data scientists, analysts, data engineers, and developers to execute both solution upgrades and analyses is essential. Architecting scalable and efficient data pipelines to ingest, transform, and analyze large volumes of structured and unstructured data within Palantir Foundry is another critical task.
Providing technical guidance, mentorship, and support to junior developers and team members is also required. Proactively identifying opportunities for process improvements and optimization within the Palantir Foundry ecosystem is an added responsibility.
To be successful in this role, you will need 2+ years of software development experience building and delivering customer-facing cloud-based analytic solutions. Experience collaborating with cross-functional teams including data analysts, engineers, and business stakeholders to gather requirements and define project scope is also necessary.
You will also need 2+ years of coding experience in Python/PySpark, SQL, and LLM modeling. Cloud-based platforms such as Azure, GCP, and AWS are also a requirement.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
3+ years of software development experience building and delivering customer-facing cloud-based analytic solutions is highly desirable. Leading the design, development, and deployment of applications on Palantir Foundry Platform is also a valuable skill.
Retail merchandising domain expertise including category management, assortment optimization, product clustering, product price sensitivity, and promotion affinity evaluation, store clustering, and localization is beneficial. Experience with Prompt Engineering developing solutions leveraging LLM models is also a plus.
