Job Overview

We are seeking a seasoned Supply Chain professional to lead our Trade Compliance efforts.

  • Drive continuous process improvements and implement best practices in Import and Export Compliance systems and processes to optimize efficiency while minimizing risk.
  • Perform thorough risk assessments, license determinations, and collaborate across functions to develop solutions that enhance our trade compliance program and improve service levels for exceptional customer experiences.
  • Screen customers, partners, and transactions against restricted party lists and sanctions to ensure we sell to authorized end-users and countries.
  • Classify materials into appropriate export control numbers and harmonized tariff schedules for accurate license determinations.
  • Secure export and import licenses when necessary and track exports against them as needed based on country requirements.
  • Propose and implement trade compliance and logistics projects, gaining buy-in from stakeholders and implementing system and process changes.
  • Document processes and procedures for trade compliance and maintain records in an organized manner to facilitate successful trade audits globally.
  • Communicate compelling business cases and project plans to support and carry out ideas to enhance security and compliance throughout our supply chain.
  • Lead cross-functional project teams in implementing compliant large-scale supply chain trade solutions.
  • Develop and mentor supply chain partners to improve performance and reduce risk.
  • Develop metrics and measure compliance, reporting results.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree or relevant work experience.
  • Fluency in English, written and spoken.
  • International Supply Chain experience.
  • Trade Compliance certifications in either Export Compliance or Product Classification.

Desirable Skills:

  • Experience in managing CTPAT or AEO certifications, knowledge of International Shipping and Customs Documentation requirements.
  • 6-Sigma Process Excellence or Lean Green Belt certification.
  • Experience in exporting and importing controlled products globally.
