As a Security Officer, your primary function will be to prevent anything that could cause loss, waste, damage or inconvenience to clients or their customers.

  • You will need to fully complete all training necessary for the particular site.
  • Complete all tasks and duties on site as defined within published Assignment Instructions (AI's).
  • Proactively refer to and review AI's, familiarising yourself with any changes and suggesting enhancements to improve service level.
  • Monitor CCTV systems where required.
  • Immediately report any Health & Safety hazards or potential hazards on client location.
  • Stay alert to threats or changes within the work environment to reduce disruption, loss or damage.
  • Use common sense and initiative by involving others if a situation appears threatening.
  • Complete an accurate detailed notebook entry after any incident to aid Incident Report process.
Requirements
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Personal appearance must be excellent.
  • A methodical and organised approach to work is essential.
  • Good computer skills are required.
  • Own transport is desirable.
  • You must be a team player.
  • Ability to work unsupervised is necessary.
