We are seeking to recruit Childcare Assistants to join our team in Saggart. This is a fantastic opportunity for those who wish to work with children and make a positive impact on their lives.

Childcare Assistants play a vital role in the daily care and well-being of children, ensuring their physical, emotional, and educational needs are met. If you have a passion for working with children and are committed to providing high-quality care, we would like to hear from you.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate activities suitable for different age groups.
  • Ensure a professional standard at all times.
  • Walk children to and from school.
  • Prepare breakfast and dinner for children.
  • Supervise homework with children.

Requirements:

  • Experience working within a School-Age Childcare setting is an advantage but not essential (training provided).
  • Excellent team player.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Benefits:

  • Additional remuneration with qualifications - QQI ELC Level 5: Additional 0.50 per hour, QQI ELC Level 6: Additional 1.00 per hour, QQI ELC Level 7: Additional 1.50 per hour, QQI ELC Level 8: Additional 2.00 per hour.
