Nursing Role OverviewWe are seeking a skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse to join our team as a Homecare Nurse. This rewarding role involves providing personalized care and support to children with complex needs in the comfort of their own homes.
Job DescriptionThe successful candidate will be responsible for delivering high-quality nursing care, including monitoring, mobilization, skin care duties, and medication administration. Additionally, they will work closely with families to develop tailored care plans that cater to each child's unique needs and requirements.
This is an excellent opportunity for a dedicated nurse to make a meaningful difference in the lives of vulnerable children and their families.
Key Responsibilities- Provide comprehensive nursing care, including vital signs monitoring, wound management, and medication administration
- Develop and implement individualized care plans in consultation with families and healthcare professionals
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure seamless care coordination and communication
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments
To be considered for this role, applicants must possess:
- A current registration with the Nursing and Midwifery Board of Ireland (NMBI)
- Previous experience working with children, preferably in a homecare setting
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with families and colleagues
- Strong problem-solving and critical thinking abilities, with a focus on patient-centered care
